THE SECOND METHOD-DIRECTIONAL

An example of both particulate wind divination and directional wind divination. See anything in the dust? I do.

The second method comes from the late Scott Cunningham, H.P., in his book Divination for Beginners.  Go to a place where there are few obstacles, such as trees or buildings, to block the wind. If it’s a bit windy, wait for a moment when the winds go calm. Ask a yes-or-no question aloud, then await the winds’ answer. If the wind blows toward the north, the answer is favorable. If the wind blows toward the east, the answer is unfavorable. If it blows toward the south, the answer is unfavorable. If it blows toward the west, the answer is favorable. If, in nine minutes, no wind arises in response to your question, then no response to your question is immediately possible.
