MY FIRST PRACTICE AT LECANOMANCY
Assuming the most desirable equipment would be a visible oil, a clear dish of water, and a white tablecloth, I decided to go with room temperature oil and room temperature water. I assembled my staging area and began.
I started with the fourth form of lecanomancy, which really is more pendulum-dowsing than lecanomancy. Though the instructions said to suspend the ring from a thread, I suspended it from a chain. Going with the general question of ‘what doI need to know for my life right now’, I didn’t pay attention to how I placed the chart under the bowl. I’d placed it upside-down, and it appeared to swing toward Black Moon Lilith. Noticing my oversight and turning the chart right-side-up, the ring then appeared to be swinging toward Uranus.
Black Moon Lilith is the woman who isn’t gonna take it anymore, and Uranus is the planet of shocks and surprises. Since the recent SCOTUS overturning of Roe vs. Wade has upset a lot of people, I interpreted this as a reaction of outrage at the decision (Black Moon Lilith), but that shocks and surprises related to this decision weren’t over (Uranus). So if you’re using this chart, you may want to turn the chart to more than one side to get a clearer picture of your message.
Next, I decided to try the Lecanomancy Circle of Guidance, and the largest blob of oil just drifted to ‘be true to yourself’ and pretty-much stayed there. Sweet.
