FADIC DAYS
Gibson starts out his discussion of fadic numbers with a simple formula for finding fadic days in any given year:
- Take the day of the month the subject was born and reduce it to a single digit. For example, for someone born on the 12th of the month, that would be a three. Note that the 21st and the 30th of the month would also be ‘3’ days. For someone born on the 27th, that would be a nine. Note that the 9th and 18th days of the month would also be ‘9’ days.
- Count the number of letters in the person’s given, or first name. Please note, this isn’t converting the letters of the person’s first name to their alpha-numeric equivalents, then reducing that to a single digit. You’re just counting the number of letters in the person’s first name. Beaufort is 8 letters. Richard is 7 letters. Marie is 5 letters.
It’s time for an example. Say, somebody named Richard was born on the 12th day of the month. His name has seven letters, and the day of his birth adds up to a three. According to the fadic number principle, Richard should then look for something of significance to happen, not just on those days of the month which add up to a 3 or a 7, but also in the months which would numerologically-correspond to those two numbers, 3 or 7.
So with a name containing seven letters and his day of birth reducing to a three, Richard can anticipate that March 7th, March 16th, March 25th, July 3rd, July 12th, July 30th, December 7th, December 16th, or December 25th would be significant days for him, as well as the 3rd, 12th, 21st or 30th of any month. At the very least, if Richard is the sort who enjoys playing the lottery, or betting on horses at the racetrack, or gambling on occasion, days of the year which numerologically correspond to both 3 and 7 would be particularly auspicious days to try his luck. So that would mean March 7, 16th or 25th, July 3rd, or December 7th.
Below is a handy-dandy, beginner’s-level PDF I developed for figuring out your fadic days of the year, which guides you step-by-step. But really, all you need is paper and pencil to do the figuring. You could even print-out a year-calendar from one of the many freebees on-line, and just circle your fadic days in colored marker. If any of your fadic days fall during one of your green periods (see my earlier ‘Calendar Divination’ in the Simpleomancy section), it could be an especially-good sign.
