Let’s try another birthdate. How about September 15, 1975?

September 15, 1975      (1+9+7+5+22)

       9  +    6  +  22 = 37  3+7=1

You’ll notice in this example I didn’t reduce the year-number to a single-digit. That’s because 1975 was a 22 year, and master numbers don’t get reduced when you’re deriving the birth number. This person is going to be an independent type. Ones can be natural-born leaders, with executive and administrative capability. They have no qualms about satisfying their needs and desires and will expend time and effort to satisfy those desires.

Some numerologists like to take into account the compound number which was added together in order to arrive at the final number, as it can shed more light on the character of the person. In this case, it is the numbers 3 and 7. Three is the number of words, communication and sociability. Seven is the number of study, spirituality, the occult, the scholar. The self-confidence of the 1 and the intelligence of the 7, paired with the communicability of the 3, means this person throughout life, will have to take care that they don’t come across to others as a ‘know-it-all’ or as implying their way of doing things is the only correct way. The 13/4 example above is the kind of person everyone at the office relies on to un-jamb the photocopier, as the 1 has the drive and initiative, the 3 has the creativity, and the 4 the dependability to get the job done.

Below is a ‘glossary’ of sorts for the different concepts associated with each of the numbers. You can use this, as well as the descriptions above, with the exercises below:
