TABLETS OF FATE
With the Gyromancy charts, you’re setting a spinning object loose. With Tablets of Fate, it is the Tablet itself which is spun, rather than the pointing object. You actively, if blindly, point to a specific location on the chart, and your particular fortune is dependent on which point of the Tablet you land. A lazy-susan or spinning rack would be useful here, but you could have someone turn the Tablet manually instead.
POLYHEDRONS OF FATE
These labor-intensive-up-front divination tools are perfect for people who like short, pithy answers and throwing things. They require considerable cutting-out and careful taping-together. They would also need to be stored in a loose-bag, so they aren’t crushed. Which they may be anyway, but with the downloaded PDFs, you can present them with a fresh set of polyhedrons for their birthday. Included below are the Icosahedrons of Insight and the Dodecahedrons of Fate. I am also including the Polyhedrons of the Dead, because holidays are for spending with loved ones. The fact that they may be deceased is a minor complication.
WHEELS OF FORTUNE
These are just spin-and-point divination tools with multiple pages deciphering the import of what the inquirer just pointed to. These are another print-it-out and stick-it-in-a-hard-envelope divination tool, but like the Tablets of Fate, you may want to have a lazy-susan or other similar spinning platform for use with these. The Container Store™ has a nice selection of spinning racks in their kitchenware department.
