Circles

The circles, the oldest suit in Mah Jongg, address issues of business, finance, material concerns, and money matters. Even those cards in this suit which address personal relationships tie into money or business matters in some way.

Circle (Pearl)-Luxury and wealth, honor and refinement. An older woman is an important part of the picture.
Circle (Pine)-Firmness and strength bring success, but always choose diplomacy over force, when possible. Literary efforts are indicated here. This symbol could represent either an older woman or sometimes a young man.
Circle (Phoenix)-An indicator of happiness, joy, and splendor. Be reassured, for good news is on its way.
Circle (Jade)-Hard work brings results. Concentrate on enduring values. Build and maintain long friendships. Justice is done.
Circle (Dragon)-Good fortune, which will likely arrive in a sudden and unexpected way.
Circle (Peach)-Strive for beauty in your life, but avoid the extremes of either extravagance or indolence. A young female may be an important part of the picture. This symbol also represents the Fine Arts.
Circle (Insect)-Industriousness. Much activity over a short period of time may bring only short-term or temporary rewards, but these things must be done. This symbol also represents craft, skills, and manual work.
Circle (Tiger)-Bravery and assertiveness are necessary, for this symbol indicates issues having to do with either holding authority and wielding it, or dealing with authorities. This symbol also represents uniformed authorities (such as military or police) or superiors in general. Issues with an older man may be a focus here.
Circle (Unicorn)-You have the gift of foresight. You can keep ahead of your rivals (or enemies) by seeing through them.
