EXERCISES:
- Look at the three pictures below. How would you interpret them? What do they tell you about the person being read for?
2. Choose a casting chart from the selection above, set a time period, say a week, a month, a year, then ask ‘give me an overview for (fill in the time period).’ Note what chart you used, and where the stones landed. What landed where? What messages did you get from this reading? Did any stones miss the casting chart, and if so, which ones? Revisit your notes at the end of the set time period. Did the cast make more sense when looking backward in time? How did setting a time-limit affect your interpretation?
3. Decide on a specific issue or problem you want to ask about, choose a chart, then do another casting. What messages did you get from this reading? How was it similar to, or different from, the general reading you did for the previous exercise? Did you gain any helpful insights into your problem using this method
EXTRA CREDIT:
Try a combination of both symbol stones and mineral stones on the casting chart of your choice. Did it give you much more information than using just one type of stone? Was it confusing? Too much information? Which stones landed off the chart, and what did that tell you? Do you prefer this integrated approach to stone divination, or do you prefer using just one kind of divining stone, either symbols or minerals?
