EXERCISES:

  1. Using Chart A, ask the question, ‘What do I most need to know for my life for the next fifteen days?’ Spin the blade three times for this question and write down the answers. Return to these notes in fifteen days time; do the answers make sense in hindsight?
  2. Using Chart B, say, ‘Give me a name or a clue to the identity of someone new I will encounter in the next two weeks.’ Spin the knife until you’ve feel you’ve gotten enough letters. Play around with the letters you’ve gotten and written down; do they spell any kind of name? Are they initials? Revisit these notes in two weeks time. Did you meet anyone like this in person? Did you encounter them on the Internet?
  3. Using Chart C, ask the question, ‘What is the most notable event or theme in my life for the coming week?’ Write down the answer and revisit your notes in a week’s time. Did anything notable happen in the previous week which reflected the numerological meaning of that number? Did something happen which featured that number? For example, did you spin the number 2, and the convenience store you were in that week was robbed by two people while you were there, or just before you arrived?

This divination method allows for some creativity, for you can devise any answer chart you want, so long as a bladed object will spin on it. It’s also a helluva lot safer than tossing the knife in the air!
