Another variation on blade-spinning divination was a chart with all the letters of the alphabet. With the alphabet chart, you have to keep spinning until you have enough letters to form a word. How do you know when you have your complete answer with the alphabet chart? You don’t; you just have to go with your gut, intuiting when you can stop. To complicate matters, it may not even be a word–it could spell an acronym. Or the answer might even be in a foreign language, so if the answer you get doesn’t make sense in your language, you may have to think about the letters you get in another language.
