EXERCISE ONE-A
This exercise can be practiced alone or in a group. Find an object which belonged to someone else, ideally a stranger. Thrift stores or second-hand shops can be great for this exercise, especially if you don’t have a group to practice with. If doing this exercise in a group, you can simply trade items with each other. Hold it in your hand (or hands, if it is a large object) and note the impressions you receive in your solar plexus. Does it make you feel good? If so, what kind of good? Are you feeling an emotion? If so, what sort of emotion? Are you feeling an energy level? High, low, angry or something else? Are you getting any visual impressions? Any smell impressions which aren’t coming from the object itself? Keep sensing until you feel you’ve got everything you can from it.
If practicing in a group, the owner may be able to tell you about the history of the object, which will either confirm or deny your impressions.
EXERCISE ONE-B
In this exercise, instead of holding an object, you’ll choose a specific location, such as a house, an historic house which is open for public tours, or a public structure with a specific purpose, such as a place of worship, and touch the walls or furnishings. Close your eyes if possible and just feel for the energy. Does the emotional temperature of the place feel warm, cold, or indifferent? Do you feel tense being in contact with this structure or comfortable in it? What other insights do you gain from scanning this place? Do arguments happen here, or is the energy peaceful? You may not be able to do this exercise very long without arousing curiosity, so try to time your visit well and choose an unobtrusive spot for practicing psychometry.

I recently saw a four directions field chart on your site. Do you sell a pdf of that chart. It was labeled under simplomancy.
You can just go ahead and download it, since I’m not charging for it. Not yet anyway.
Hello, I looked and couldn’t find a pdf or link on your site
I have a PDF for the Psychometry Observations Sheet incorporated into the lesson, but I didn’t do a separate downloadable PDF because given the experiential nature of this particular ability, I initially thought it didn’t need one. But on further reflection, if you asked, there may well be others who are wondering the same thing, so I will create a PDF on the key elements of practicing psychometry. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
