THE USA’S PLUTO RETURN

I want to conclude with something about the numerology of the USA’s Pluto Return, projected to happen on February 20, 2022, since it is an impending event which has the astrologically-aware very concerned about exactly what event it is going to bring about. It’s been noted that no other democracies in history have managed to survive their first Pluto return intact, so the concern here is very understandable. I’m no astrologer, but I’m a fair numerologist, and based on the numerology alone which surrounds that date, I am feeling anticipation, hope and encouragement.

Expressed as a mathematics problem, that date is 0+2+2+0+2+0+2+2=10, which reduces to a 1. February 20, 2022 is a 10/1 universal day. The nature of a 10/1 universal day is Universe telling you, ‘whatever it is you want to start kid, do it, because I’m behind you 100 percent, and I’ll give your start a boost.’ Whatever happens on that day, it’s likely going to constitute a new beginning, a fresh start, a forging in a new direction, a fearless push into new territory, a willingness to go it alone, and possibly, just possibly, a re-establishment of the USA’s leadership in some respect. If February 20, 2022 was a 9 or a 6 universal day, then I’d be worried, because those numbers have the potential to carry some heavy baggage with them.

But it is a 1 day, and the compound number behind it is ten, which, according to Norma J Watkins in The Art of Nameology, represents ‘an assist from God in beginnings.’ I’m reminded of the obverse side of the Great Seal of the United States, which features a pyramid and the words spelled out in the sky above it, ‘Annuit Coeptis’—‘the Divine hath smiled upon our undertaking.’ That is very much the nature a 10/1 day—whatever you’re starting (or re-starting) on a 10/1 day, the winds of the Universe are at your back, so go for it.

Another thing worth discussing is the USA’s ‘personal’ numerology for next year. The personal year is derived by adding the month of birth, reduced to a single digit or master number, plus the day of birth, reduced to a single digit or master number, plus the year in question, reduced to a single digit or master number. Following this formula, 2022 is going to be an 8 personal year for the US. An 8 personal year is one when material success, worldly success, or improving one’s personal standing or reputation is entirely within the subject’s grasp, should they dare to try. More specifically, it is a 17/8 personal year for the US, which means this material success or improvement in standing could come about by rather unique or unusual actions, or series of events, so the US will need to think outside the box when addressing this challenge.

As the United States will be in an 8 personal year, February 2022 will be a 1 personal month for the country, and a 1 personal month is always a good time to begin any important initiative in your life. February 20, 2022 will be a 3 personal day for the US, which encourages a creative approach to problems, as that is likely the best approach. In sum, whatever crisis-point the USA’s Pluto in February return points to, a unique, unusual and creative approach will win the day, and it will constitute a fresh new beginning of sorts.

Warning: a 1 personal month in February means a 9 personal month in January. The USA is going to be wrapping up some old business and ending something in January, and endings can be filled with drama and strong emotion. Sometimes endings can be sad, ugly and painful. Think of it as an alchemical process; you have to burn away the dross before you can arrive at the pure product you’re looking for.

In the first century humanity has known about it, Pluto has gained a fearsome reputation for being a transformational force on a large scale, often horribly-so. But from a numerological standpoint, I see little to fear and much to celebrate about the USA’s first Pluto return. It’ll be like someone clicked on the Cosmic ‘refresh’ icon on the country’s computer. Of course, clicking on the ‘refresh’ icon can lose stuff, but let’s hope whatever the US loses is something it really needs to lose.

And so, with that, I want to close by wishing you all a Happy 2022. It has the potential to be a happy year for many people. Just remember to reach out to others, to connect—that one thing appears to be the key to happiness and purpose in 2022.
