I want to start by saying all this which follows is just my opinion—‘entertainment purposes only’, as the diviners, astrologers and psychics on YouTube are obliged to say when they begin. But 2022 is such a numerologically-juicy target, I just had to get my thoughts about it out of my head and in-print. What I have to say about it will hopefully give you some flavor of the up-coming year.

THE NUMBER SIX AS A YEAR

2+0+2+2=6. So six is the universal energy number for 2022, and it says something about the general atmosphere and nature of the upcoming year.  Six is the number of home, family, and community. We could see new housing initiatives and family-supportive legislation passed in the legislatures of more than one country. Some fine new household gadgets or labor-saving devices could be rolled-out in 2022, since domestic considerations will be a focus. Or an important new architectural design for housing could be unveiled, a new approach to housing which could stick around for awhile. Six is also the number of medicine and health, so we will likely see related developments. Perhaps new treatments, or new modalities for treating certain health conditions. Perhaps, dare we hope, an end to the Covid pandemic.

Six is also the number of evil, karma, and above all, responsibility. Any prominent perpetrators of evil acts, who appear to have gotten away with it thus far, will likely (finally) find themselves called to account for their deeds, and it’ll be much in the news. Don’t be surprised if we see many indictments filed, and trials scheduled for a whole passel of miscreants at some point in the New Year. Universe/Tao/God is going to be in the mood to pass judgement about all manner of persons, places, and things, and dealing with them accordingly.

Karma is simply the law of cause and effect. Good intentions and good deeds will bring good consequences for their perpetrators, bad intentions and bad deeds will bring bad consequences for their perpetrators. In 2022, prominent people will generally be getting what they deserve, no more and no less. Just as some will be punished, other very-deserving people who’ve been working long and hard for the commonweal could be singled-out for special recognition.
