EXERCISES:

  1. Choose a famous person from history who had one good day and one bad day that you know of. Do their Egyptian Protocol charts, using both alpha-numeric tables, for the two days in question. Did both alpha-numeric tables yield the same result for each day, or did they differ? Can you see how both results applied to the day in question, or was one of the numbers clearly wrong?
  2. Choose someone you know well. Identify one day in their life you would consider a good day for them, and one day in their life you would consider a bad day for them. Do Egyptian Protocol charts for both days, using both alpha-numeric tables. Did both alpha-numeric tables yield the same result for each day, or were the two results different? Were both results for each day right, in a sense, or was one of the two results clearly wrong?
  3. Do an Egyptian Protocol chart for yourself, for some date within the next week. Then file that chart away, temporarily forget it, and return to it in the next seven to ten days. Did anything happen on that particular day which justified the omen you received for that day?
  4. EXTRA CREDIT: Do an Egyptian Protocol chart for your choice of subject, for your choice of day. Only this time, pair it up with another divination tool or technique which lends itself well to daily consultation. The Prophetic Coin, pearl divination, book divination (where you grab a book off the shelf and randomly choose a passage from it), or a card drawn from a card deck are all good ones for this exercise. Note the answer you receive from this second divination tool. Taken together, what picture of the day in question does the Egyptian Protocol and this second divination tool paint for you? If it’s a day in the near future you’ve chosen, return to your notes later; did the day pan-out the way the two divination tools indicated? In your opinion, does the Egyptian Protocol work better in tandem with another divination tool, or is it useful-enough on it’s own?
