EXERCISE TWO: REMOTE-SENSING A LOCATION

Exercise Two actually offers you two options. With option one, you choose a remote location you want to scan and sense what you can about it; active or calm? People there or no? If there are people there, what are they doing? What’s the weather like there? That sort of thing. Then you check later, ideally with someone who was there, to see how close your impressions came to actual fact.

Option Two is what I call the Web-Cam Experience. When Pete Sanders Jr. wrote his book ‘You Are Psychic’, the Internet wasn’t a thing, but with the advent of the Internet, a variation on the original exercise is possible. With this approach, you choose a few locations which you know have web cams, then start gleaning information. Is it day or night there? Morning or afternoon? Is traffic heavy or light? What does the weather appear to be like? Do you detect any smells? What kind of activity are you picking up? The beauty of option two is you can log on to that web cam immediately to see how close (or far) you were to what’s actually going on at that location.

EXERCISE THREE: SEEING INTO ‘PROBLEM PEOPLE’

We all have those ‘difficult’ people to deal with in life and figuring out where they’re coming from using the normal awake, rational-thinking brain feels like an exercise in futility. So let your intuition come to your aid:

  1. Think of three people in your life whom you have difficulty with. Taking them one at a time, hold each one in your mind and think about your relationship with this person. Think about ways to improve your relationship with this person, or ways you have tried and failed.
  2. Shift your attention upward to your Intuitive psychic reception center and note any impressions, insights or information which tumble in. Have paper and pen on hand for this, because psychic impressions can be fleeting, and their input valuable.
  3. See if you receive any intuitions about why these people react to you as they do. It may turn out that it has nothing to do with you, so you don’t have to take their behavior personally.
  4. Your Intuitive Center may pick up on further information about ways you could improve your relationship with this person, as if it were responding to your unvoiced questions from earlier.
  5. Be open to any intuitive impressions about what style or method of approach you could use in the future when dealing with these individuals.
  6. Write down all impressions you receive and act on the information you received about these individuals the next chance you get.
