This topic is a division of psychic feeling, but the previous lesson dealt with psychic feeling via the midsection. This lesson is going to focus on psychic feeling as perceived by other body parts, particularly the hands and in some cases, the forehead or face. The word psychometry literally translates as ‘soul measuring’ and can be defined as ‘the ability to read all or part of an object’s (or person’s) history by physical contact with it.’ Psychometry isn’t good for reading about the future of someone or something. Only in the sense that past behavior is a key to future actions can some psychometrists tune in to what is likely to happen to an individual in the future. But psychometry is particularly good at picking up current information about an individual, such as how they’re feeling, their state of mind, and personality characteristics. It’s also dead-useful for the historian or archeologist who wants to know how an ancient found object was used.
There are three kinds of psychometry: Object Psychometry, Location Psychometry, and Person Psychometry. Object psychometry is self-explanatory; it’s an object you hold and pick up information from. Location psychometry is perceiving things about a person or group of people by going to a physical location and touching parts of it, such as windows, walls or furniture, and deriving information thereby. Person psychometry is actually touching a person and perceiving information about them from physical contact. One clear example of location psychometry is déjà vu, a feeling of ‘I’ve been here before.’ An example of person psychometry is meeting a person for the first time and thinking, or even saying, ‘I know you from somewhere’ or conversely, wanting to stay away from them, although there’s no apparent reason why. Person psychometry can be very useful in healing work, as it helps the practitioner identify the problem area(s).
There are three locations on the body where psychometry can be engaged: the hands, the forehead or face, and the solar plexus. The solar plexus, we dealt with in the previous lesson. This lesson is about the one of these other interface points on the body.

I recently saw a four directions field chart on your site. Do you sell a pdf of that chart. It was labeled under simplomancy.
You can just go ahead and download it, since I’m not charging for it. Not yet anyway.
Hello, I looked and couldn’t find a pdf or link on your site
I have a PDF for the Psychometry Observations Sheet incorporated into the lesson, but I didn’t do a separate downloadable PDF because given the experiential nature of this particular ability, I initially thought it didn’t need one. But on further reflection, if you asked, there may well be others who are wondering the same thing, so I will create a PDF on the key elements of practicing psychometry. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
