THE WINTER OF LIFE
Here, the questions have a more grim and wistful tone. They reflect a consciousness that life is rapidly approaching its end. Why has he constantly mistaken the path to happiness? Are there any happy moments still ahead of her? Will she be missed by her friends when she dies? Will he face his death with fortitude? Will I be remembered or famous for something after I die, or am I doomed to oblivion? Can I rely on the nursing-home help? Can I still be of any use to society at this point? How will I handle old age? Will she overcome her fear of death? I printed out the Winter oracle cards on light grey cardstock, to represent the overcast and snow-laden winter sky.
