This is another ‘Book of Fate’ style divination tool I stumbled across in late 2023 on internetarchive.org. Looking for something else, my search terms brought to the surface an item I wasn’t looking for, but looked interesting anyway.  The print quality of the original screams seventeenth century C.E., and the answers are all in seventeenth century English verse. It has an antique charm about it. But the questions it’s designed to answer tend to be the sorts of things which will always interest humans. What kind of people should I hang-out with? Will I marry the person I have my heart set on? In what line of work will I best prosper? Will my current project or speculative venture prosper or suffer?  Will I go on a trip soon? Will I marry, and if so, how many spouses will I have?

It also answers more serious questions like, of the married couple in question, which will die first? Will I live long and increase in riches? What is the fortune of the child yet to be born, whether boy or girl? Can I trust this party with my secrets? Will I be welcome where I’m planning to go?  Was what I have been told true or not? Will my life’s end be a happy one?
