HOW TO USE

First, download the PDF of the Wheel of Pythagoras I created below:

It’s a large file. I have tried to respect the original wording of the answers as much as possible, but here and there, I have revised or expanded on the answers in order to lend what I consider to be greater clarity to the answer.

There are two different ways of obtaining an answer from this oracle, and both are essentially arithmetic problems. One way uses four numbers: the number value of the first letter of the first/given name from page 7 of the PDF, the day of the month you were born, the number value of the day of the week on which you are asking your question, and the number value of that day’s planetary ruler. These are added together, divided by 30, and the remainder is the number of the answer.  This number, along with the number of the question you asked, is taken to the answer key pages of the PDF and used to identify the letter code and symbol associated with your answer.

The second approach uses five numbers: a random number chosen from page 8 of the PDF, the number value assigned the first letter of the first/given name on page 7 of the PDF, the number value of the day of the week on which you are asking your question, the number value of the planetary ruler of that day of the week, and the day of the moon’s age. (See the ‘Moon’s Age Divination’ lesson for suggested websites where you can find the date of the Moon’s age). These five numbers are added up, divided by 30, and the remainder is the number of the answer. This number, along with the number of the question you asked, is taken to the answer key pages of the PDF and used to find the letter code and symbol associated with your answer.

So which of these two approaches to obtaining an answer from the Wheel of Pythagoras is the best one?  I dunno. You’ll have to experiment with both in order to figure out which approach results in the most accurate answer. It may come down to your own intuitive sense of which arithmetic problem to use when seeking an answer to the chosen question. It’s clear from the factors involved that the timing of the question is considered key to the outcome of the question. You may find with experience,  that the four-factor arithmetic problem renders the more-accurate answer in some cases, and the five-factor arithmetic problem renders the more-accurate answer in others.

With all that out of the way, I hope you find this divination tool helpful and enlightening.
