I came across this simple divination tool while searching for something else. At first glance, the instructions confused me a bit, and it didn’t look very useful anyway. When I went back and looked again more carefully, I found a potentially useful divination tool which can bear being used on a daily basis. (Let that be a lesson to me—appearances can be deceiving).  The citation for the book in which I found this appears at the end of the lesson. As to who came up with this divination method, I don’t know. Perhaps it was the author himself.

WHAT YOU NEED

For this form of divination, you need a coin with a discernable ‘heads’ side and a ‘tails’ side, a set of nine square cards, approximately 2.5inches by 2.5 inches (that’s 6.5 cm by 6.5 cm in the metric system), numbered 1 through 9, and the Prophetic Coin Table of Forecasts.

As is my wont, I’ve created a handy-dandy kit you can print out and use, the PDF for which appears below, and the picture of which appears at the beginning of this lesson. The Table of Forecasts can and should be printed out on regular printer paper, but the cards and their carrying pocket you’ll want to print out on a good-weight cardstock. I have designed the carrying pocket so that everything—cards, coin and Table of Forecasts—will fit into it.
