CONCLUSION
Whether you use the cards or the numbered-tokens-in-a-jar approach, I hope you find Celtic Triad divination helpful, enlightening and accurate. Like the Adinkra symbols of West Africa, the Celtic Triads can bring one to a new appreciation of the deep, clear-eyed wisdom and world-view of the culture from which they sprang.
EXERCISES
- Try the Celtic Triads as an omen-of-the-day for a set period of time; a week, a fort-night, a month. Note what triad you chose for each day, then re-visit it later the same day. Could you see how that triad applied to the events of the day?
- Use the Celtic Triads in a three-card, past-present-future or situation-challenge-outcome spread. How would you rate it’s accuracy? Did it give you any helpful insights into your situation?
- Use the Celtic Triads in a larger spread. One of the Five-Card spreads, Six-Card Hungarian, Celtic Cross, Mah Jongg Four Directions, the Horoscope Chart, your choice.
- Now that you’ve used the Celtic Triads three different ways, answer these Questions: A. Do you prefer one approach over the other two? B. Would your rather use a different divination tool altogether? C. Would you use the Celtic Triads as clarifiers for another deck? Do a comparison and contrast of the Celtic Triads and the Adinkra symbols. D. How are they similar? How are they different? What do they tell you about the cultures they came from?
