SO HOW DO I READ WITH THIS MONSTER?

Shuffling these is difficult at best, but if you stand them up on-end in the box (see above-left) you could shuffle them in the box without having to take the unwieldy deck in your hands. You could do the two-hands-smearing-them-around-the-tabletop shuffling method if you don’t mind painstakingly gathering the cards back into a neat deck. Hand-over-hand shuffling is possible, but it’s awkward, and with this many cards, you’re likely to drop some to the floor while shuffling. Use your own best judgement and what you feel capable of doing with them. You may decide to take out only a random selection of the cards from the whole deck, and read from those.

This deck lends itself well to use as an omen- or oracle-of-the-day. It’s also good for a one-card, on-the-spot reading in response to a specific question. You can use them in a three-card, past-present-future lay-out, or the six-card Hungarian spread. The twelve-house horoscope method is another lay-out pattern you might want to experiment with using this deck (see the Tarot Divination post for the Horoscope lay-out pattern). Though I chose to number these cards when I created them, I don’t recommend the Grand Tableau spread, unless you are a glutton for punishment.
