THE ADINKRA FOR PERSONAL USE
The Adinkra is one of those decks where you could draw one, two or three cards as a daily oracle, things you need to keep in mind for the day. I like this approach to becoming familiar with any symbol-system set of cards, because I think it’s an excellent way of learning a deck and getting familiar with its guiding-spirit. For those who want more in-depth back-and-forth with the Adinkra cards, I’ve devised the following two lay-outs for personal use:
The order of lay-out for the two personal overview layouts is as follows. For personal overview lay-out number one, the cards are laid out from left to right, from top to bottom. For personal overview lay-out number two, the cards are laid out from left to right in the following order: past-present-future-challenge-solution.
Aside from using the Adinkra cards as a divination tool, they make fine flash cards for those who wish to become fluent in the symbolic meanings of the Adinkra symbols. However you choose to use them, may the lovely and inspiring Adinkra guide you in wisdom for years to come!
