KIPPER CARD MEANINGS

Card 1-Main Man/Main Person-This card depicts a man in the prime of life. Some decks call this the card and Card 2 the ‘Main Person’ card, but it’s understood, this card represents a male in the reading, and is used as the significator when reading for a male inquirer. In yes/no questions, this card is a maybe.
Card 2-Main Female/Main Person-This card depicts a woman of about the same age and the man in Card 1. Some decks call this card, a ‘Main Person’ card, but it’s understood she represents a woman in the reading, and is used as the significator when reading for a female inquirer. In yes/no questions, this card is a maybe.
Card 3-Marriage-This card can depict either a wedding couple or a couple busy with married life. It can foretell an actual wedding or engagement in the offing. It can be telling the inquirer they need to enter into a relationship of some sort, or an agreement, or a contract. This card could also refer to a merger of two companies or businesses. Surrounding cards will tell if this ‘marriage’ is a good thing or not. In yes/no questions, this card is a yes.
Card 4-Meeting(s)/Courtship-This card represents encounters with others for the purpose of exchanging information, socializing, or working on a joint project. It can also represent the process of courtship, whether it is one person seeking to persuade another to marry them, or it is one person trying to persuade another to enter into a contract or a business partnership with them. If this card is in the future, such a meeting may be coming; the inquirer may be subjected to a ‘sales pitch’ of some sort. In yes/no questions, this card is a maybe.
Card 5-Good Gentleman/Mature Man-This card depicts a significantly-older man than the man in Card 1. This card can be used as the significator in a reading for a man of advanced age. Otherwise, he can be an actual older male person being talked about in the reading, and in the case of romantic questions, he could even represent ‘the other man’—the inquirer’s rival. In yes/no questions, this card is a yes.
Card 6-Good Lady/Mature Woman-This card depicts a significantly-older woman than the woman in Card 2. This card can be used as a significator in a reading for an older woman. Otherwise, she can be an actual older woman being talked about in the reading, and in the case of romantic questions, she could even represent ‘the other woman’—the inquirer’s rival. In yes/no questions, this card is a yes.
Card 7-Pleasant Letter/Message-This card means you will receive a message soon, either a traditional letter or telegram, or an e-mail, text message. It can also represent documents, stocks, legal records, etc. This card traditionally is considered to mean the message will be a pleasant one, but the surrounding cards will indicate if the message is ultimately a positive one. In yes/no questions, this card is a yes.
Card 8-False Person-This card depicts a person in disguise. The inquirer is warned there may be a deceitful person in their environment, and to exercise care. This person could be a drama king or queen, a manipulator, a gossip, a lover-of-trouble, a con artist, or some other variation on that theme. Secondarily, this card could be a warning to the inquirer that they are committing their energies to the wrong cause, the wrong plan, the wrong decision, or the wrong attitude. The surrounding cards could hint at what form this ‘falsity’ takes. In yes/no questions, this card is a no.
Card 9-Change-There is going to be a change or movement in your life. This could mean moving to a new house or work location, gaining employment or losing a job, a child grows up and moves out, a promotion or change of career, a relationship changes, a change in outlook or values; the change can take many forms, but it is coming. Secondarily, this card could be telling the inquirer they need to be more flexible and adaptable to change. This could mean having to leave something behind. In yes/no questions, this card is a maybe.
