THE COURT CARDS

The Court Cards have their own separate significances too:

JACKS: youthful, creative, charming, fun, romantic, and good talkers. But Jacks can also be immature, irresponsible, unreliable, untruthful, and downright crafty.

QUEENS: maternal, protective, strong management and organizational skills, can assume authority with ease, intuitive and attracts what she needs to her without having to demand it. Can have a strong creative/artistic streak, like the Jacks.

KINGS: managers, leaders, authoritative and disciplinary in nature, demands things instead of requesting them. Has an area of responsibility or a ‘kingdom’ of sorts.

Below is a crib sheet I devised for those who want to keep the list of meanings above with them as they start using the cards:

Now that I’ve done a run-down of the meanings of the various suits, the court cards and the numerological associations, attached is a separate PDF with a basic summation of my understanding of the meanings of each card; this column would be just too long otherwise. I will include a bibliography at the end of this lesson, for those who want to read in-depth on the subject. You may want to read a couple of sources, then come to your own determination of the cards’ meanings.
