Print out or save to a computer or jump-drive, the PDF to which I have provided the link below. Look over the Tablets and their answer tables, because it will give you an idea of the sorts of questions you can put to the Tablets of Fate. It may also give you some ideas for creating a Tablet of Fate yourself.
When I devised the Tablets of Fate for Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, Pluto, Chiron, Sedna, and Eris, I asked each of them (using the yes-and-no stones I covered in an earlier lesson) what shape they wanted Their Tablet to take. When I wrote down a list of all the Tablets I’ve included in the PDF link below, I perceived a curious commonality. The Sphinx, the Sun, Venus, Mars, Saturn, and Pluto all chose the stable and staid figure of the square. The Moon, Neptune, Chiron, and Eris all chose the less-angular, wholistic shape of the circle. Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus, and Sedna all chose the square-knocked-on-its-ear, I’ll-do-my-own-thing shape of the diamond.
Good Luck using the Tablets of Fate, and may all its answers bring you good guidance!
If you want to try your hand at devising Tablets of Fate yourself, or if you don’t like the way these are set up, or the answers they give, I’m including a link to a PDF below, with templates you can use. There are many dwarf planets and asteroids in our solar system for which there are no Tablets of Fate, so the field is still open for new ones to be created!
