Description
The Tablets of Fate combine the randomness of lot-casting or Arabian Squares divination with a bit of numerology. They are essentially number squares, with the numbers 1 through 16 distributed in a random fashion in the square. Each tablet is accompanied by an answer key table, and you’ll notice each number has an upright or reversed answer. This is because of the way you actually divine for an answer, which we’ll get to in a little bit. The traditional Tablets of Fate are:
- The Tablet of the Sphinx, which needs to be consulted by the inquirer first, because it tells you if you are permitted at this time to consult the other Tablets of Fate.
- The Tablet of the Sun, which answers questions concerning time.
- The Tablet of Mercury, which answers questions concerning journeys and communications.
- The Tablet of Venus, which answers questions concerning love.
- The Tablet of the Moon, which answers questions concerning your home, relatives and friends.
- The Tablet of Mars, which answers questions concerning work, business, money, how you use your energy.
- The Tablet of Jupiter, which answers questions concerning doubts, worries, legal problems and the justice system.
