Three-Six: A trip, either by you or someone else, either locally or farther-afield, may be in the near-future, and may bring you a gift along with it.
Four-Four: Happiness, joy and relaxation. This could herald a financially-rewarding time, possibly as a result of your own persevering efforts. You may attend a party or celebration in a large building or the home of a stranger.
Four-Five: A surprise brings unexpected happiness. Money could be involved. An investment you made in the past may suddenly yield a handsome profit. Now is not a favorable time for gambling, so don’t risk any money which comes in at this time.
Four-Six: Avoid getting involved in any arguments or a lawsuits around this time, for if you do, you will lose. Take extra-care with any promises you make or contracts you sign at this time, for if you don’t, unanticipated expenses or trouble will follow.
Five-Five: Change is coming which will bring you success, good fortune and possibly material gain. There may be a chance for you to make money from a new idea. You may move to a new place (home/work/school) where you will be happier and experience more good fortune. Or, this domino could simply be asking you to look at the world from a new perspective.
Five-Six: A stroke of good luck in work or friendship, possibly in the form of some sort of help from a friend or acquaintance. A kind action or persevering effort you made in the past may bring you good will or great regard at this time.
Six-Six: The most fortunate domino in the six-dot set, this is a harbinger of rare good fortune, success, happiness and fulfillment. You could make an important gain at this time. New paths may open up for you, and you are ready to take them. At the very least, this tile heralds a short, trouble-free time.
EXERCISES:
- Ask ‘what is the most important event in my life for the coming week?’ then draw a tile from the bone pile. Note the answer, then return to it a week later. Did it come true? Did you have to really stretch the meaning of the tile, in order to make it apply to the week just past? Did it not happen at all?
- Try this exercise again, only ask what is the most important even for the coming month. Note the answer, then return to it a month later. Did it happen? Did the stretch of time covered make a difference in the way the fortune turned out?
- Try a three tile spread, the Past~Present~Future spread. Note the answers. Do the tiles for the past and present make sense to you? Return to your notes about this reading a week or two later. Has the future tile’s prediction happened yet? Does it make sense in terms of what the past and present tiles were saying?
