POSITIONS IN THE CUP AND THEIR MEANING
Assume all the following applies as you are holding the cup handle pointed toward you.
- Close to the handle-something occurring in the inquirer’s home or usual environment.
- Pointing toward the handle-symbols appearing to point toward the handle is something approaching.
- Pointing away from the handle-symbols appearing to point away from the handle is something departing.
- At or near the rim of the cup-events occurring in the present or near-future.
- Mid-way down the cup-events coming a little further on in time.
- Near the bottom of the cup-events occurring in the more-distant future.
- In the circle at the bottom of the cup-unfortunate events.
