There are a total of twenty hearts, and they are as follows:
The Multifaceted Heart-the heart for which the entire deck is named, you’ll notice that there are large, medium and small facets in the heart, some but tiny slivers on the periphery. I image this heart to represent a person who disperses their love over a wide variety of people—family, friends, neighbors perhaps, the larger world community, etc. This I see as a healthy orientation, as such a person recognizes that love comes in many varieties and they know them all.
The Hidden Heart-inside the outer, more armored-looking heart, is an inner heart. I imagine this heart to represent the sort of individual who may look cold and indifferent on the outside, to the point where you wonder if they have a heart. They do, but it’s protected, and you have to get past the outer ‘armor’ to get to the heart within.
The Searchlights-two searchlights, as if standing on the ramparts of a prison, search the surrounding landscape for escapees—or prospects for love. This could represent someone who is either actively searching for love, or someone who fears the object of their heart’s desire will escape.
The Teardrop-resembling a teardrop necklace, this heart also distinctly resembles someone in a business suit and tie. As such this heart’s card can represent two things: first, it could represent someone who’s crying on the inside, either over a lost love or whose heart is being put through the wringer. Second, it could represent someone who puts on a businesslike outer appearance, but on the inside, it could be a different story.
The Scarlet Witch-the shape I saw in this heart resembled the Scarlet Witch’s headdress, so I interpret this heart as representing the concept of the superhero in general. This could symbolize someone who’s really into superheroes or comics, someone who’s looking for their own personal superhero, or who would like to be a superhero.
