As for my experiment, I didn’t specify if the most significant event in the next seven days was for me personally or just in general. The only interpretation I could think up to apply to the results of this experiment concerned uncharitable speculation about the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and his reputed personal fondness for chemicals. Of course that’s not what I was thinking when I was dripping the wax, it just happened that way. Who the individual was, peering out from the purple candle wax, I couldn’t tell you. So it goes.
SO WHAT SORT OF QUESTIONS WILL IT ANSWER?
This divination method seems good for identification-type questions, such as:
What sort of traits does my future spouse have?
What sort of qualities or talents will my future child/children have?
What is just ahead for me (or someone else) in the next week/month/year?
Who poisoned my dog?
Why was (fill in the blank) called to the principal’s/headmaster’s office?
Who took my ring/file/key?
Where did I lose (fill in the blank)?
What presents the most danger to me in trying to achieve my goal?
What made my ex fall out of love with me?
What will be the outcome of the dispute?
Who is my secret admirer?
Which deceased person is it that I sense around me?
How will I identify the person who (fill in the blank)?
