Their Positions & What They Mean
Position 1-Where You Think You Are
This is the mental state which currently possesses your attention. It describes the part of yourself you’re most aware of and most comfortable with right now. This represents your current ideal of the future or your current source of inspiration. But be warned: this is not the most accurate indicator of where you are at right now in your life process. You may often notice this shape in your environment, are strongly attracted to it, and admire the qualities it represents.
Position 2-Your Strengths
This is an inherent strength predominant in your nature at this time, whether you realize it or not. You demonstrate this strength to others without effort. Your manifestation of these qualities is fluid, strong, and resourceful. You may even be complimented by people for demonstrating the qualities inherent in the shape you place in this position. This shape reveals the innate talents you bring to bear on the growth happening in Position 3.
Position 3-Where You Actually Are
This shape represents the work that is really going on right now at the core of your being. This may even be a process at work in your psyche which you are unaware of or overlooking, but you must become aware of it in order to fully-manifest its potential in your life. This is where your own gifts can be used correctly right now. When you embrace the mental process the shape in this position represents, it can be a source of unlimited creativity and healing. In fairy tales, when characters have to choose from among multiple options, the middle/third choice is usually the right answer, which helps them achieve their ends or solve their problem. You may be surprised to notice this shape in your environment, or in places where you haven’t seen it before.
Position 4-Your Motivation
The shape in Position 4 represents past challenges, tests, or circumstances which propelled you into the current process of change indicated by the shape in Position 3. This shape is the underlying incentive which has motivated you to do things differently now. Many people who’ve taken this test report the shape in this position represents situations they have resolved or moved beyond. You may notice this shape in your environment only occasionally.
Position 5-Old, Un-Finished Business
The shape you have placed in this position represents a mental process which you have either outgrown or now dislike, still resist, or judge negatively. This position is associated with unresolved issues you wish to put aside for now. This is something you will get back to and deal with later, but it is not something you need to attend to now. This shape can also reflect areas of boredom, patterns of denial, or disowned parts within you. When you see this shape in your environment, you may feel either disinterest or irritation in response to it, because you don’t want to be reminded of the mental process it represents.
