KEEPING A RECORD
If you are serious about developing your psychic ability, you ought to keep a record; a diary, journal, or a notebook recording your psychic impressions and doing follow-up notes on how your psychic impressions played out or didn’t. Below is one proposed recording format. You can print this out and keep it in a folder or binder, or you can simply follow this format in a separate written account of your own:
You’ll not score 100% accuracy in your predictions; no one does. But having a written record of your psychic predictions can help you see where you went wrong in earlier sessions, so you can improve your future predictions. All this having been said, psychic ability is a responsibility—use it wisely.

Psychics all have their own unique approach to developing psychic ability, so you’re encouraged to read more than one book on the subject, in order to gain a more comprehensive understanding. Sanders has his own set of psychic development exercises, but you may find another psychic presents exercises which come at it from a different angle, further strengthen your abilities and give you a perspective on psychic ability you hadn’t considered before.

The principal text for this section (or at least the first several lessons), Sanders science-based approach is designed to get you accessing your psychic abilities quickly and effectively. This book covers the four main psychic abilities and their related abilities, such as psychometry, aura reading and self-healing techniques.
Whitaker, Hazel. Develop Your Psychic Ability: Unlock Your Intuition and Psychic Potential. New York: Barnes & Noble. 1999. 88 pp. ISBN: 0-7607-1226-3.
An introductory book on developing your psychic ability, it’s a very basic guide that doesn’t go into as much detail as others on the list.
Andrews, Ted. Psychic Power. Young Person’s School of Magic and Mystery Volume Two. Jackson, Tennessee: Dragonhawk Publishing. 2000. 304 pp. ISBN: 1-888767-40-5.
Though aimed at and written for middle-school/junior high school aged readers, this is a good, basic introduction to developing psychic ability and it answers questions about it you may have yourself. He encourages practicing divination as a way of connecting with your own inner guardian. Pages 284-286 contain a helpful glossary of psychic terms.
Mercree, Chad. The Way of the Psychic Heart. Woodbury, Minn: Llewellyn Publications. 2014. 304 pp. ISBN: 978-0-7387-4040-9.
Designed as an introductory course in psychic development, Mercree emphasizes the importance of developing a heart-centered psychic ability, regular practice, and maintaining a healthy perspective about psychic ability.
Roberts, Billy. So You Want to be a Psychic? Develop Your Hidden Powers. London, U.K.: Watkins Publishing. 2010. 204 pp. ISBN: 978-1-906787-96-7.
Covers how to read auras, activate your chakras, clairvoyance, mediumship, channeling, psychic self-defense, astral projection and psychic healing. Like Mercree, he emphasizes practice in order to develop and maintain psychic abilities, and encourages you not to lose your perspective when you gain them.
Fuller, Elizabeth. Everyone is Psychic: the Edgar Cayce Way to Unlock Your Own Hidden Psychic Ability for a Richer, More Rewarding Life. New York: Crown Publishers, 1989. 293 pp. ISBN: 0-517-57180-3.
This book, written with the blessing of Cayce’s descendants, puts forward Cayce’s own methods for developing psychic ability, starting with overcoming personal stumbling blocks, progresses to meditation, from there developing intuition, then developing psychic abilities. This is a very comprehensive book on developing psychic abilities.
These are merely suggestions to get you started. A few of these titles, I found at InternetArchive.org. Others may still be in print, or available as e-books. A casual search for ‘develop psychic ability’ at Amazon Books or Barnes & Noble Books online will yield a number of titles on the subject. You’re bound to find one or more psychic development books which resonate with you.
