You’ll likely find you have a strong natural aptitude for one of these abilities over the others. A smaller number of people will have an aptitude for two, and an even smaller number will have an aptitude for three. Very few will have a strong aptitude for all four psychic abilities. Even if you have only one of the four principal psychic talents, you may still be able to develop some degree of ability in the other three with a little practice.

Try not to feel too frustrated with yourself if you’re ‘just not getting it’ when practicing a psychic ability. For example, if you’re a psychic feeler, you may have trouble visualizing, hearing or intuiting psychically, because you feel all your psychic input. Just do your best. Practicing psychic ability should be a lifelong habit anyway, because psychic powers can weaken with disuse. Developing the psychic ability you most naturally have and perhaps one other can pay dividends further down the road in life, which you wouldn’t have had if you’d never tried.

Of course, other psychics have written books on how to develop your psychic ability, and they’ll all have their own approach to the subject, so you’re encouraged to read any of the books in the bibliography at the end of this lesson.
